Production is already underway on The Dark Knight Rises — across three continents — but the film hasn’t yet completed all its casting. According to Variety, the production has added three new actors to the production, though the roles are unspecified…so far.
Those actors include film veteran Matthew Modine (Full Metal Jacket), Tom Conti (Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence) and Joey King (Battle: Los Angeles).
Directed by Christopher Nolan, The Dark Knight Rises sees the the return of Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Nestor Carbonell, while adding Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence and Daniel Sunjata.
The film is set for release on July 20, 2012.
