Michael CaineBack in the first week of April, we reported that Michael Caine might join the cast of Chris Nolan's new feature, Inception. "I don’t think [Nolan]'s going to make a picture without me," Caine jokingly told MTV.

Now, Caine has confirmed to InContention.com that he has officially joined the cast. "I have a little part in it, yes. Just a tiny part," he said. "Chris and I are very good friends so I'll do that little part. I think I'll work about three days."

Inception stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

As to the plot, Warner Bros. merely refers to it as "a contemporary sci-fi thriller set within the architecture of the mind."

The film is scheduled to hit theaters July 16, 2010.
