Will Josh Brolin Be One Half of New 'Men in Black'?
Or play someone else entirely?

According to The Los Angeles Times, Columbia Pictures is interested in bringing Josh Brolin aboard for Men in Black 3. What isn't known, however, is exactly who Brolin would play.He could play a new single-monikered government agent, reports The Times, with Tommy Lee Jones' Agent K passing the baton to Brolin's character. Or he could play Agent K as a young man. Or something else entirely.
Will Smith is expected to return for the third installment, written by Etan Cohen, but no word yet about whether or not Tommy Lee Jones will be back. Meanwhile, Barry Sonnenfeld has also been rumored to return to direct the third outing.
Personally, the idea of Brolin taking up the slack for Tommy Lee Jones just seems natural to us—we can easily see him as a younger Agent K, or in a similar role to that of Agent K.
Brolin has recently been filming scenes for director Oliver Stone's Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps in New York.
