Universal's The Wolfman is set to arrive in theaters in just over two months (February 12, 2010), and the studio is ramping up its PR campaign. Their latest effort is a new featurette that ties the new film to the studio's storied cinematic classics of the '40s and '50s which inspired director Joe Johnston's remake. In the featurette, the actors talk about the wolfman myth and lots of new scenes from the film are revealed. Check it out using the player below.
The Wolfman tells of Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro), an actor who returns to the home of his estranged father (Anthony Hopkins) after the death of his brother. Familiar awkwardness becomes the least of his problems when he is attacked and bitten by a wolf and quickly takes on hairy, toothy qualities whenever the moon rises.
The new film also stars Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving and Art Malik.

10 days before these woods are traversed by an incarnation of horrific evil, a colony of peaceful and loving ground-hogs rise from their hole to see if their shadows will be cast by moonlight. If no shadow is seen, then a burrowing frigid month of hibernation will linger ahead. But if the shadows fall, Cowabunga! They launch for Waikiki before the spawning box jellyfish invade the shoreline, ten days later. (Hey, ground-hogs are shrewd little critters.)
